President's Choice Maple Syrup

President's Choice (PC) Maple Syrup is a staple Canadian product under the private label brand of Loblaw Companies Limited. The syrup is sourced and manufactured in Canada, primarily within the provinces of Quebec and Ontario, which are world leaders in maple syrup production.

Originally launched in the mid-1980s by Loblaws under the direction of Dave Nichol, the President's Choice brand was designed to provide premium quality products at lower prices than national brands. Today, the brand remains under the ultimate ownership of George Weston Limited, a major Canadian public company. Because it is a house brand, the products are distributed exclusively through the Loblaws network of grocery stores across Canada, including Real Canadian Superstore, No Frills, and Shoppers Drug Mart.
