Maguary is one of Brazil's most historic and well-known brands, specialized in fruit juices and concentrates. Originally founded in 1953 by Maurício de Almeida in Pernambuco, the brand became famous for its concentrated cashew juice, which remains its flagship product. Over the decades, the brand underwent various ownership changes, being part of multinational portfolios like Kraft Foods.
Today, Maguary is a household name in Brazil and is produced domestically in multiple industrial plants located in regions such as Araguari (Minas Gerais) and Aracati (Ceará). The brand is currently owned by Britvic, a British multinational beverage company that acquired ebba (Empresa Brasileira de Bebidas e Alimentos) in 2015. This acquisition allowed the British group to establish a strong presence in the South American market, combining traditional Brazilian flavors with global corporate governance.
