Mango is a globally recognized fast-fashion brand, often categorized as high-street fashion. Founded in 1984 in Barcelona, Spain, by brothers Isak and Nahman Andic, it has grown from a single boutique into an international fashion empire with thousands of points of sale across more than 115 countries.
The brand's collections are conceptualized and designed at its headquarters in Palau-solità i Plegamans (Barcelona), known as the Hangar Design Centre. While the design and creative direction remain firmly Spanish, the manufacturing process is globalized to support its vast distribution network. Mango utilizes a sophisticated sourcing model that emphasizes "near-shoring" to remain agile in the fast-paced fashion market. Its primary Tier 1 production hubs include Turkey, China, India, and Italy, but it also maintains supplier partnerships in Morocco, Vietnam, and Portugal.
As of the mid-2020s, Mango remains a privately held company. Following the passing of founder Isak Andic in late 2024, the company's governance was restructured under its 2024–2026 Strategic Plan (4E), with Toni Ruiz serving as Chairman and CEO. This plan focuses on expanding the brand's physical and digital footprint while maintaining its identity as a design-driven, Mediterranean-inspired fashion leader.
