Originally founded in the state of Minas Gerais in 1970 by the company 3 Corações Ltda, the brand has grown to become a national leader in the coffee sector. The Premium Estrada Real line pays homage to the historic routes of Minas Gerais, highlighting high-quality beans sourced from traditional coffee-growing regions.

Today, the brand is owned by the 3corações Group (Grupo 3corações), which is a successful 50/50 joint venture established in 2005 between the Brazilian company São Miguel Holding and the Israeli multinational Strauss Group. While the manufacturing and operational heart of the company remain firmly in Brazil, serving the domestic and international markets, the ultimate ownership is shared between Brazilian and Israeli interests.
