The brand is particularly famous for its NaturRadler, a naturally cloudy refreshment made by mixing beer with real lemon juice. The label explicitly mentions the 'Gösser Brauerei' in A-8700 Leoben, confirming its production at the traditional site in Austria.

Historically, Gösser became a national brand in the early 20th century, and its international recognition grew significantly when it was served at the gala dinner for the signing of the Austrian State Treaty in 1955. Today, while maintaining its deep Austrian heritage and local manufacturing, the brand is part of a larger international portfolio.
