Rügenwalder Mühle is a prominent German food brand with a history dating back to 1834. Founded by Carl Müller in Rügenwalde (now Darłowo, Poland), the company later relocated to Bad Zwischenahn, Germany, following World War II. While traditionally known for classic meat products like the Teewurst, the company revolutionized the German market by becoming a pioneer in vegetarian and vegan meat alternatives in 2014.

In early 2024, the family-owned enterprise entered a new era when the Pfeifer & Langen Industrie- und Handels-KG acquired a majority stake. This strategic move integrated Rügenwalder Mühle into a broader portfolio that includes other significant food brands.
