Hesburger is the largest fast-food chain in Finland and the Baltic states, specializing in burgers, fries, and specialized sauces. Founded by Heikki Salmela and his wife Kirsti Salmela, the brand traces its roots back to a grill shop established in Naantali in 1966. The first official Hesburger location opened in Turku in 1980.

Today, the brand is known for its high-quality ingredients and its proprietary mayonnaise-based sauces. While the majority of its supply chain is managed within Finland to ensure local quality standards, the brand operates across several countries including Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Ukraine, and Bulgaria. The company remains a family-owned enterprise, maintaining its headquarters in Turku, Finland.
