Originally launched in 1975, the brand was created by the Brazilian company Anderson, Clayton & Co., initially focused on soybean oil. Since 2023, Liza has been part of the Cargill portfolio in Brazil. Cargill, a global leader in food and agriculture headquartered in the United States, acquired the industrial complex and consumer brands from Bunge (the previous owner) to strengthen its presence in the South American consumer market. The product is primarily manufactured in plants located within Brazil, serving the domestic market with high reach and familiarity.
