Batavo is a traditional Brazilian dairy brand founded in 1928 by Dutch immigrants in Carambeí, Paraná. The brand's name and its logo—a Dutch girl—reflect this heritage. Over decades, Batavo became a market leader in yogurts and dairy desserts.
In 2014, French dairy giant Lactalis acquired the brand as part of a major deal with BRF. Today, the product is manufactured in Brazil, utilizing domestic dairy production while benefiting from the global infrastructure of Lactalis, the world’s largest dairy products corporation headquartered in France. The Pense Zero line specifically targets health-conscious consumers with its zero lactose and zero fat profile.
