The brand was founded in 1948 by Einar Belvén in Stockholm and continues to manufacture its products in its own bakery located in Segeltorp, Sweden. Since 2021, the company has been owned by the investment firm Valedo Partners, ensuring it remains under Swedish corporate ownership and maintains its heritage as a leading Nordic bakery brand.
