Axe Brand Universal Oil

Axe Brand Universal Oil, also known as 'Minyak Cap Kapak', is a legendary medicated oil that has been a household staple in Southeast Asia and beyond for nearly a century. Developed with a unique formula containing menthol, camphor, and methyl salicylate, it is widely used for the relief of headaches, stomach aches, and insect bites.

The brand was founded by Leung Yun Chee, who emigrated from China to Singapore. After meeting a German physician who shared the recipe for the medicated oil, Leung established the Leung Kai Fook Medical Company to manufacture and market the product. Today, the brand remains under the stewardship of the founding family, expanding its presence to over 30 countries while maintaining its headquarters and primary manufacturing facilities in Singapore.
