Costa d'Oro is a prestigious Italian olive oil brand founded in 1968 in Spoleto, Umbria, by the Sabatini and Santirosi families. The brand is well-known for its commitment to traditional oil-making processes combined with modern innovation, often producing unfiltered and cold-pressed varieties. In 2018, the French multinational dairy giant Group Avril (through its subsidiary Saipol) acquired the company to expand its international presence in the olive oil sector alongside its other major brand, Lesieur. Costa d'Oro remains headquartered in Italy, maintaining its heritage while benefiting from the global distribution network of its French parent company.
