Karat Original coffee

The brand was originally part of the Danish company Nordisk Kaffe. Over the years, through various mergers and acquisitions in the global coffee market, the brand was acquired by Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE).

Today, Karat is owned by JDE Peet's, a global coffee and tea powerhouse headquartered in the Netherlands. While the brand maintains its Danish identity and heritage, its production and distribution are managed through the corporate network of JDE Peet's, often utilizing large-scale roasting facilities in Denmark or nearby European regions.
