In late 2017, Blink was acquired by Amazon, integrating it into the tech giant's extensive smart home ecosystem alongside brands like Ring. Since the acquisition, Blink has specialized in affordable, indoor and outdoor wireless cameras that connect directly to the cloud, leveraging Amazon's infrastructure for storage and smart assistant integration through Alexa.

While the brand was designed and engineered in the United States, manufacturing is primarily outsourced to facilities in China. Today, it remains a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amazon, operating as a key component of their consumer hardware division.
