Chronoswiss is a prestigious luxury watch manufacturer founded in 1983 by Gerd-Rüdiger Lang in Munich, Germany. Despite its German origins, the brand was built with a deep commitment to Swiss watchmaking traditions, utilizing high-quality mechanical movements and traditional craftsmanship. The name itself reflects this hybrid heritage, merging 'Chronograph' with 'Switzerland'.

In 2012, the company underwent a major transition when it was acquired by the Ebstein family. Following the acquisition, the brand’s headquarters and production facilities were moved to Lucerne, Switzerland. Today, Chronoswiss is recognized as a truly Swiss-made brand, known for its iconic regulator dials, onion crowns, and intricate guilloché techniques. The company remains an independent, family-owned boutique brand, focusing on limited production and innovative designs while maintaining its headquarters in its House of Chronoswiss atelier in Lucerne.
