Neutrogena Sun Fresh Facial is a dermatologist-recommended sunscreen designed for daily facial protection. The brand was originally established in the United States in 1930 as Natone by Emanuel Stolaroff. It gained worldwide recognition for its gentle, high-quality skincare products. For the Latin American market, particularly Brazil, these products are often manufactured locally in facilities in São José dos Campos to serve the regional demand.
In 1994, Neutrogena was acquired by the global healthcare conglomerate Johnson & Johnson. However, in 2023, Johnson & Johnson spun off its consumer health division into a new independent company called Kenvue. As of 2024 and beyond, Kenvue is the ultimate owner of the Neutrogena brand, operating as a dedicated consumer health company headquartered in the United States.
