Ecover is a pioneering brand in the ecological cleaning industry, founded in 1979 in Belgium. The brand was established with a focus on creating phosphate-free cleaning products that minimize the impact on aquatic life and the environment. Over the decades, it has become one of the most recognized names in sustainable household goods, known for its plant-based ingredients and recyclable packaging.

Today, Ecover operates a world-renowned ecological factory in Malle, Belgium, designed with a green roof and sustainable materials. In 2012, Ecover was acquired by Method Products, and subsequently, both brands were acquired by SC Johnson in 2017. This acquisition integrated Ecover into a global portfolio while maintaining its specific focus on European green-cleaning standards and manufacturing processes.
