Jasmine Granola

Jasmine is a well-established health food brand that originated in Brazil in 1990, founded by the Fonestat family. The product shown is their signature granola, often marketed as the first granola brand in Brazil.

In 2014, the brand was acquired by the French group Nutrition & Santé (N&S), a European leader in the dietetic and organic food market. Nutrition & Santé is itself a subsidiary of the Japanese multinational pharmaceutical and nutraceutical giant, Otsuka Pharmaceutical. Consequently, while the brand maintains its Brazilian heritage and local manufacturing facilities in Campina Grande do Sul, it is ultimately part of a major global corporate structure headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
