Hak vegetables

HAK is a renowned brand in the Dutch food industry, specializing in preserved vegetables and pulses. Founded originally by the Hak family in 1952 in Giessen, North Brabant, the company began as a local trade in fruit and vegetables before expanding into high-quality glass packaging to preserve the natural taste of their products without unnecessary additives.

While the brand has undergone several changes in ownership over the years, including a period under PAI Partners, it is currently owned by the Russian food company KDV Group via its subsidiary Neerlands Glorie. Despite the international ownership, HAK remains deeply rooted in Dutch agriculture, sourcing a majority of its produce from the local vicinity of its processing facilities in Giessen to maintain freshness and sustainability. The brand is a market leader in the Benelux region, known for its distinctive slogan 'Je hebt groenten en je hebt HAK' (You have vegetables and you have HAK).
