Nescafé Clássico is a signature instant coffee brand produced by the Swiss multinational Nestlé. The brand's origins date back to 1929 when Nestlé was challenged to help preserve a surplus of coffee beans in Brazil following the Wall Street Crash. After several years of research led by Max Morgenthaler, Nescafé was officially launched in Switzerland in 1938.

While the brand has Swiss origins and is headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland, its products are manufactured in numerous factories globally to serve local markets.
