Patak's Korma sauce

Patak's is a world-renowned brand specializing in Indian-style curry pastes, sauces, and pickles. Founded in 1958 by Laxmishanker Pathak in London, the brand started as a small family business focused on delivering authentic Indian flavors to the UK market. The name was simplified from Pathak to Patak's to make it easier for British consumers to pronounce.

Today, Patak's products are primarily manufactured in the United Kingdom, specifically in Leigh, Greater Manchester. While the brand remains deeply rooted in its Indian heritage, it is now part of a global corporate structure. In 2007, the Pathak family sold the business to Associated British Foods (ABF), a multinational food processing and retailing company. Patak's remains one of the leading brands in the global ethnic food sector, overseen by ABF's grocery division.
