Finkbräu is a popular private label brand of lager primarily sold through the German discount retailer Lidl. While the brand name suggests a Germanic brewing tradition, it is marketed as a value-oriented beer across various European markets.
Because Finkbräu is a store brand, it does not originate from a single historic brewery but is instead produced by different contract brewing partners depending on the region. In many cases, it is brewed by major industrial breweries in Germany, France, or the Netherlands, such as Oettinger Brauerei or Brasserie de Saint-Omer. As a private label, it is ultimately owned and controlled by the Schwarz Group, the multinational retail giant that operates Lidl and Kaufland.
