Landliebe is one of Germany's most recognized dairy brands, originally established in 1980 by Südmilch AG. The brand has a long-standing reputation for using traditional recipes and natural ingredients, particularly focusing on milk from family-run farms in Germany. For many years, Landliebe was a core part of the Dutch dairy cooperative FrieslandCampina.

Following an acquisition cleared by antitrust authorities, the Landliebe brand, along with several production sites and other brands, was transferred to the Müller Group (Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller) in early 2023. Today, the products are primarily manufactured in Germany, maintaining the brand's heritage of regional production. The ultimate owner, the Müller Group, is a privately held multinational dairy company headquartered in Luxembourg, though its operations and origins are deeply rooted in Germany.
