Lustucru Torsades pasta

Lustucru is an iconic French pasta brand, easily recognized by its distinctive blue checkerboard packaging. This specific product, Torsades, is part of the brand's dry pasta range, which is manufactured in France using 100% French wheat. The semolina is processed at the brand's mill in Rouen, and the pasta is produced at their factory in the Hauts-de-France region.

The brand's history is unique due to a split in ownership. While the Lustucru name is used for both fresh and dry products, they belong to different companies. The dry pasta business (pictured) is owned and operated by the French company Pastacorp, which retained the rights to dry pasta and semolina after a regulatory decision in 2002. Meanwhile, Lustucru's fresh pasta and rice divisions are owned by the Spanish group Ebro Foods. Pastacorp continues to emphasize the brand's family-rooted French heritage and local production.
