Pasta Garofalo is a historic brand originating from Gragnano, Italy, a town famous for its pasta-making heritage since the late 18th century. The product is manufactured in Gragnano using traditional methods like bronze-die extrusion and high-quality durum wheat semolina.
Starting in 2014, the Spanish multinational Ebro Foods acquired a majority stake (52%) in Pasta Garofalo. Ebro Foods is a global leader in the rice and pasta sectors. Despite this Spanish ownership, the production remains deeply rooted in Italy to preserve its IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) status and premium quality associated with the Gragnano region.
