Itacolomy butter

Itacolomy is a historic Brazilian dairy brand, founded in 1912 in the state of Minas Gerais. Originally created by the company Itacolomy Produtos Alimentícios, it became one of the most traditional names in the Brazilian dairy market, particularly famous for its butter sold in characteristic tins and tubs. Throughout its over 100-year history, the brand has maintained its identity associated with farm flavor and tradition.

The brand is currently owned by the French group Lactalis, which acquired it through the purchase of the dairy division of BRF (Brasil Foods) in 2014. Lactalis, the world's largest dairy products group, operates the brand in Brazil through its local subsidiary, Lactalis do Brasil. The production remains centered in Brazil, utilizing domestic milk sources to maintain the product's traditional taste profile while benefiting from Lactalis's global distribution and quality standards.
