L'OR Ground Coffee

L'Or is a premium coffee brand established in France in 1992 with the mission of delivering the 'gold standard' in coffee. Originally a local success, it expanded internationally in 2010 by introducing its signature espresso capsules. The brand's journey has been marked by several corporate transitions, evolving from its French roots into a globally recognized label under the Dutch company JDE Peet's.

Technically, the manufacturing of L'Or ground coffee involves a complex global supply chain. While the raw green beans are harvested from diverse regions across the 'coffee belt'—including Latin America, Africa, and Asia—the roasting, grinding, and final packaging predominantly occur in European specialized facilities. As of 2026, the ultimate ownership of the brand rests with Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), following a significant $18 billion acquisition of JDE Peet's.

This acquisition resulted in a major corporate realignment, effectively splitting KDP into two distinct entities: a North American beverage company and a global coffee powerhouse. L'Or now sits within the global coffee division, headquartered in the United States and the Netherlands, continuing its legacy of high-quality coffee production for over 100 countries.
