Oral-B is a globally recognized brand in the oral hygiene industry, particularly famous for its electric toothbrushes and toothpastes. The brand was originally founded in the United States by Dr. Robert W. Hutson, a periodontist who designed a new type of toothbrush with numerous fine, soft, flat-ended nylon bristles.
Today, Oral-B is part of the Proctor & Gamble (P&G) portfolio. While the brand has American roots, a significant portion of its oral care manufacturing—especially for the European market and its high-end electrical components—takes place in Germany. P&G acquired the brand when they bought Gillette in 2005. The Pro-Expert line is one of their premium toothpaste offerings, formulated to provide comprehensive dental protection and a deep cleaning sensation.
