Tropicana is a globally recognized juice brand that originated in the United States in the 1940s. Founded by Anthony T. Rossi in Bradenton, Florida, it became famous for its innovative flash pasteurization and transport methods that brought fresh-tasting orange juice to the masses.
Today, its manufacturing process involves sourcing fruit from various regions, notably Brazil and Florida, with bottling facilities located across North America and Europe to serve local markets quickly. Ownership of the brand shifted significantly in 2021 when PepsiCo sold a majority stake (60%) of its juice business, including Tropicana, to PAI Partners. This move created a joint venture called Tropicana Brands Group, which oversees the brand's global operations into 2026 and beyond.
