SBP Liquid Electric Insecticide

SBP is one of the most recognized brands of insecticides in Brazil, originally established by the local company Sydney Bossle e Pastor. Its goal was to provide effective household protection against mosquitoes and other insects. Over the decades, the brand became a staple in Brazilian households, particularly for its liquid and plug-in electric variants used to combat mosquitoes carrying Zika and Dengue.

The brand was acquired by Reckitt Benckiser (now known simply as Reckitt), a British multinational consumer goods company. Today, SBP products sold in the Brazilian market are primarily manufactured in facilities within Brazil to meet high local demand, while being part of a global portfolio of health and hygiene brands managed by the UK-based conglomerate.
