Disaronno Originale is a world-renowned Italian amaretto liqueur with a characteristic almond taste, famously produced in Saronno, Italy. The brand traces its origins back to the Renaissance year of 1525, according to legend involving a young widow who created the amber-colored potion as a gift for the artist Bernardino Luini.

Today, the product is manufactured by ILLVA Saronno S.p.A. (Industria Lombarda Liquori Vini Affini), which remains a family-owned company. The production process takes place in Italy, maintaining the traditional secret recipe that infuses apricot kernel oil with absolute alcohol, burnt sugar, and the pure essence of seventeen selected herbs and fruits. The brand's iconic square bottle was designed by a master glassmaker from Murano, further cementing its Italian heritage.
