Originally launched by the Nuremberg-based company Schickedanz (later known as SCA Hygiene Products), the brand changed hands as part of larger corporate restructuring in the paper industry. Today, it is owned by the Sofidel Group, an Italian multinational that is the second-largest manufacturer of tissue paper in Europe.

Manufacturing takes place at various Sofidel facilities, with a strong production presence in Germany to serve the local market. The brand continues to focus on softness as its primary selling point, maintaining a legacy of German tissue engineering under Italian ownership.
