Maggi Brühwürfel

Maggi bouillon cubes are a staple kitchen ingredient globally. The brand was founded in Switzerland by Julius Maggi in 1886, who sought to improve the nutritional intake of worker families with functional, quick-to-prepare food. Today, while the brand maintains its Swiss heritage, it is one of the pillars of the Nestlé portfolio. Manufacturing for the European market, particularly for products found in DACH regions, is heavily centered in Germany (notably at the Singen factory), though Nestlé operates dozens of Maggi production facilities worldwide to cater to local tastes.
