OCB (Odet-Cascadec-Bolloré) is a world-renowned brand of rolling papers with a history dating back to 1822 in Ergué-Gabéric, France. The brand name pays homage to the Odet river, the Cascadec mill, and the Bolloré family who founded the paper mills that originally produced the paper. Known for quality and innovation, OCB became a household name for smokers globally.
Today, OCB is a flagship brand under Republic Technologies. In 2000, American businessman Don Levin and his company, Republic Tobacco (now Republic Technologies), acquired the historical OCB brand from the Bolloré Group. While the brand is american-owned, it maintains its strong French heritage, with the majority of production still taking place in France to ensure the traditional manufacturing standards are met.
