Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser

Cetaphil is a globally recognized dermatological skincare brand founded in 1947 by a pharmacist in Texas, USA. The brand's first product, the Cetaphil Cleansing Lotion, was designed to be a gentle formula for skin disorders, a philosophy that continues across its modern product line including the Oily Skin Cleanser shown here.

Originally part of the Galderma laboratory, which was a joint venture between Nestlé and L'Oréal, Cetaphil is now owned by Galderma Group AG. Galderma became an independent dermatological company in 2019 after being acquired from Nestlé by a consortium of institutional investors led by EQT. While the brand has American roots, its manufacturing footprint is global, with major production facilities in Canada, France, Brazil, and Germany to serve various international markets.
