Perugina is an iconic Italian confectionery brand founded in 1907 in Perugia, Italy, by Francesco Buitoni, Luisa Spagnoli, Leone Ascoli, and Francesco Andreani. The brand is world-renowned for its high-quality chocolate, particularly the famous 'Baci' pralines. The Bag shown, 'Cioccomania', consists of an assortment of these classic Italian chocolates.

Historically an independent Italian firm, Perugina was acquired by the Swiss multinational Nestlé in 1988. While it is now part of the global Nestlé portfolio, the brand maintains its deep roots in Italy. Most of its production, including the signature chocolate lines, continues to take place at the San Sisto factory in Perugia, ensuring the brand stays connected to its regional heritage and traditional recipes.
