Pudliszki is one of Poland's most recognizable and historic food brands, specializing in high-quality tomato-based products and ready-to-eat traditional Polish meals. Founded in 1920 by Stanisław Fenrych, the brand gained international acclaim early on, notably being favored by figures like the Archbishop of Gniezno for its quality and being featured in early international exhibitions.
Today, the brand's main production facility remains in the village of Pudliszki in the Greater Poland region, where it focuses on sourcing local ingredients for its range of ketchups, sauces, and canned goods. This localized production has helped it maintain a reputation for authenticity and heritage while adopting modern industrial standards for global distribution.
In the late 20th century, the brand underwent significant ownership changes as part of Poland's economic transition. It was acquired by the American food giant H.J. Heinz Company in 1997. Since 2015, following the mega-merger of Heinz and Kraft, Pudliszki has been a key asset under the Kraft Heinz Company portfolio. It continues to operate as a leading brand in the Polish market under the stewardship of this multinational conglomerate.
