Bauducco is the world's largest producer of Panettone, identifying strongly with its Italian heritage despite being a Brazilian success story. The brand was founded in 1952 by Carlo Bauducco, an Italian immigrant who moved to São Paulo and brought horizontally the traditional family recipe for the sourdough holiday bread.
Over the decades, Pandurata Alimentos, the parent company, has expanded its operations globally. Today, the brand maintains massive production facilities in Brazil and opened its first international factory in Miami, Florida, to serve the North American market. Bauducco remains a family-owned enterprise, maintaining its status as a leading name in the global bakery industry.
