Chupa Chups is one of the world's most iconic confectionery brands, famous for its lollipops and distinctive logo. The brand was founded in Spain in 1958 by Enric Bernat, who conceptualized a sweet on a stick to prevent children from getting sticky hands. Notably, the brand's logo was designed by the surrealist artist Salvador Dalí in 1969, featuring the daisy shape that is still used today.
Manufacturing for Chupa Chups is global, with major production facilities located in Spain, Russia, China, and Vietnam to serve different regional markets. Since 2006, the brand has been owned by the Italian-Dutch multinational conglomerate Perfetti Van Melle. Today, it remains a leader in the candy market, distributed in over 150 countries.
