Babaevsky Dark Chocolate

Babaevsky is one of Russia's oldest and most prestigious chocolate brands, with history dating back to 1804 when it was founded by Stepan Nikolaevich Abrikosov. Originally known as the Abrikosov Factory, it was nationalized after the revolution and renamed in 1922 in honor of Pyotr Babaev.

The product is primarily manufactured at the historical Babaevsky Confectionery Concern facility in Moscow. The brand is renowned for its high-quality dark chocolate bars and premium pralines, maintaining traditional Russian recipes that have been passed down through generations.

Currently, the brand is part of the United Confectioners (Obyedinennye Konditery) holding, which is the largest confectionery group in Eastern Europe. The ultimate ownership lies with the Guta Group, a Russian diversified investment company that manages several iconic food producers within the country.
