Campbell's Real Stock is a premium range of liquid cooking stocks marketed as a convenient alternative to homemade varieties. This specific product, 'Real Stock Beef,' is prominently branded as 'Australia's Favourite' and made with 100% Australian beef, reflecting its strong local presence in the Oceanic market.
While the Campbell's brand is an iconic American brand founded in Camden, New Jersey, in 1869 by Joseph Campbell, the Australian operations have a distinct corporate history. In 2019, the Campbell Soup Company sold its international division (Campbell International), which included its Australian soup and stock business and Arnott’s Biscuits, to the global investment firm KKR (Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.).
Today, the brand in Australia is managed under the Arnott's Group umbrella, which is owned by KKR. The production for the 'Real Stock' line remains centered in Australia, utilizing local ingredients and slow-cooking methods to cater specifically to Australian culinary standards and consumer preferences.
