3DR Iris+ Quadcopter Drone

The 3DR Iris+ is a consumer-grade quadcopter drone developed by 3D Robotics (3DR). Originally founded in Berkeley, California, the company transitioned from hardware manufacture to software-focused services. While early prototypes and design work were handled in the United States, mass production and manufacturing of the hardware components for the Iris+ model were primarily conducted in China to scale distribution and manage costs. Ownership of the brand remains with 3D Robotics, which currently specializes in site-scanning software for construction and engineering sectors.
