Schweppes is one of the world's most iconic beverage brands, with a history dating back to 1783 when Johann Jacob Schweppe developed a process to manufacture carbonated mineral water in Geneva, Switzerland. The brand later moved its headquarters to London, where it became the official purveyor of soda water to the British Royal Family.
