Ptasie Mleczko is one of Poland's most iconic confectionery products, consisting of soft milk soufflé covered in chocolate. The product was first created in 1936 by Jan Wedel, the grandson of the founder of the Wedel chocolate brand. It remains a cultural staple in Polish households and is primarily manufactured at the company's historic factory in Warsaw, Poland.

While the brand holds a deep Polish heritage, its corporate ownership has changed hands several times through international acquisitions. After being owned by the American company Kraft Foods (later Mondelēz International) and the British manufacturer Cadbury, the brand was acquired in 2010 by the LOTTE Group, a multinational conglomerate from South Korea/Japan. Despite this international ownership, E. Wedel continues to operate as a local Polish company with its main production and headquarters staying in Warsaw to preserve the original recipes and manufacturing traditions.
