Vidonya Vinho Verde White Wine

Vidonya is a refreshing white wine from the Vinho Verde region in Northern Portugal. It is produced and bottled by José Maria da Fonseca (J.M. Fonseca), a historic and highly regarded wine producer based in Azeitão. Founded in 1834, the company remains family-owned and is one of the oldest table wine producers in Portugal.

The wine itself is characterized by its light, crisp nature typical of the Vinho Verde DOC (Denominação de Origem Controlada). Although bottled in Azeitão, the grapes are sourced from the specific climate and soil of the northern Vinho Verde region. José Maria da Fonseca Vinhos S.A. continues to be the ultimate owner and operator, maintaining a legacy of over nearly two centuries in the Portuguese wine industry.
