Zanuy is a specialized brand of Tex-Mex products originating in Spain. The brand belongs to the Liven group, which was founded in 1991 and established its production headquarters in the Catalan region. These wheat tortillas are primarily produced at their manufacturing facilities located in Puig-reig (Barcelona), where the company processes raw materials to create various snack and Mexican-style products.
In early 2019, Liven (including the Zanuy brand) was acquired by the Finnish group Paulig and later fully integrated into their European operations. Paulig is a major player in the Tex-Mex market globally, known for its focus on sustainability and international food trends. While the ownership is Finnish, the manufacturing for the Spanish and Mediterranean markets remains largely rooted in Spain.
