Piasten Treets Peanut

Treets is a historic peanut chocolate brand that originated in the United Kingdom. Developed by Mars in the mid-20th century, the brand has a complex history, ultimately becoming part of the German family-owned company Piasten. In 2017, Piasten regained the rights to the brand name for several European markets, relaunching it as a Fairtrade-certified alternative to mainstream peanut chocolates.

Today, Treets is primarily manufactured in Forchheim, Germany, at Piasten’s production facilities. The brand is now owned by the Katjes Group through its subsidiary Piasten. This transition marked a move towards ethical sourcing and German-based manufacturing, positioning the historical brand as a specialized player in the European confectionery market.
