Dr Pepper Vanilla Float Soft Drink

Dr Pepper is one of the oldest major soft drink brands in the United States, created in 1885 by pharmacist Charles Alderton in Waco, Texas. This specific 'Vanilla Float' variant is a popular flavor extension that mimics the taste of a soda fountain classic.

Ownership of the brand is complex and split geographically. In the United States, it is owned and manufactured by Keurig Dr Pepper. Internationally, however, the rights are often held by other beverage giants. In many European markets, including Germany, the manufacturing and distribution rights belong to the Schweppes group (part of Orangina Schweppes), which is ultimately owned by the Japanese conglomerate Suntory. Because of these varied licensing agreements, the product is manufactured in multiple countries depending on which regional bottling partner is supplying the market.
