Melange margarin

Melange is one of Norway's most iconic food brands, first introduced in 1924. It has become a household staple, particularly known for its versatile role in baking and frying. The product in the image is a plant-based margarine, manufactured with a blend of coconut, rapeseed, and sunflower oils.

Historically developed by Persil-fabrikken, the brand eventually became part of the Mills AS portfolio. Mills AS, founded in 1885, remains a family-owned Norwegian food business. Today, the brand is owned by the parent company Agra AS, which manages several leading Scandinavian food brands. Production primarily occurs at Mills' modern facility in Fredrikstad, Norway, ensuring local heritage and quality control.
