Scott Sports SAS, formerly known as Scott USA, is a prominent producer of high-end bicycles, winter sports equipment, motorsports gear, and sportswear. The brand's journey began in 1958 when engineer Ed Scott revolutionized skiing by inventing the aluminum ski pole. Over the decades, the company expanded into motocross and cycling, moving its headquarters to Switzerland in the 1970s and 1980s to better serve the European market.

Today, Scott Sports is globally recognized for its innovation in aerodynamics and lightweight materials. While its origins are American and its operational headquarters are Swiss, the majority ownership changed in 2015 when the South Korean Youngone Corporation acquired a controlling stake. Manufacturing is distributed across several countries, with high-end bicycle frames often produced in Taiwan or Vietnam, while apparel and components are manufactured in various facilities throughout Asia and Europe.
